Traditional payment processing paths in low-bandwidth ecosystems often drop transaction states due to network volatility, leading to severe reconciliation backlogs, ledger double-entry bugs, and delayed processing windows for digital micro-merchants.

💡 The Architectural Solution

We engineered a resilient transaction queuing backend that implements idempotent processing keys and immediate memory-state snapshots. This decoupling pattern allows the platform to accept client traffic seamlessly during unexpected down-stream processor timeouts and accurately complete settlement paths.

⚙️ Technical Contributions

• Designed stateless **REST controllers** using Java/Spring Boot to safely handle high-concurrency payloads under simulated peak merchant traffic events.
• Enforced absolute data integrity by utilizing database isolation locks and database schemas to avoid overlapping ledger mutation anomalies.
• Integrated secure mock callback systems modeled directly against modern payment processing patterns to reliably verify downstream transaction logic.
